Our pre-construction process is designed to ensure all of the decisions are made up front to reduce variability and uncertainty and to keep the project on budget and on time.
We make sure that we’re a good match, we identify your wants and needs and our team answers any preliminary questions you may have about designs, costs, timelines and land possibilities.
Bring your own plans, choose one of our available plans and customize to your specific needs, or work with our design team to create your dream home.
To prepare you for your interior and exterior product selections, we provide you with a customized spec sheet binder to review your options from our vendors that will help solidify your visions of your dream home. At the meeting, we review your preliminary choices with you, advise you on products, and help you make your color selections in our showroom where you will choose your cabinets, countertops, flooring and more.
We create an itemized spreadsheet of all quotes received from our subcontractors for your selections. We review the cost breakdown with you and make any necessary changes to ensure your budget and visions align.
A contract is signed outlining all of the details of the project.
We prepare all permitting materials and site plans for you and submit them to the necessary jurisdiction.
Your project will be added to the BYK Construction schedule and a pre-construction meeting will be arranged with your manager to review the build process and make any final adjustments.
